Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for B Found (B Found Search Inc.) paid services. The free audit is, of course, free. This policy is about the paid tiers. All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
We want you to feel the work was worth it. If something is not right, contact us: we would always rather make it right than argue over a line.
The reporting dashboard subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. We do not charge a cancellation fee. Because the service is delivered continuously, we do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period unless the law requires it.
The one-off audit purchase
The paid audit is a digital service delivered to you once we run it. Before we have started producing your audit, you can cancel for a full refund. Once the audit has been produced and delivered, it is generally non-refundable, but if it was not delivered, was materially wrong, or did not match what we described, contact us and we will re-run it or refund you.
The done-for-you audit and engagements
Done-for-you audits and ongoing engagements are set out in the specific proposal or agreement you accept, which governs its own cancellation and refund terms. Where that agreement is silent, this policy applies.
How you pay
We accept credit card and pre-authorized debit for recurring services, and we invoice for done-for-you work (payable by Interac e-Transfer or electronic funds transfer). Card and pre-authorized debit payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible, or by the same rail you paid on.
How to cancel or request a refund
To cancel a subscription, use your account settings or contact us. To request a refund, email us with your account email and what happened, and we will respond promptly:

Your consumer-protection rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer-protection law, including any right to cancel certain agreements within the timelines the law sets. Those rights apply on top of this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above; the policy in effect when you bought a service governs that purchase.
